We had attended the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes with the goal of
becoming a therapy dog team, but Winston was having trouble with 2 parts of the test.
This course, offered when there is sufficient demand, will help you prepare for the ten items on the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test or the tests you and your dog must pass to
become a therapy dog team.

therapy team (like me), ACT will help you build a happy, healthy and confident relationship with your

Each group has its own set of standards, required courses, and special testing before a
dog and handler can
become a registered
therapy team.

dog and handler complete all requirements, they must go through a final evaluation, or series of evaluations, to
become an official animal assisted
therapy team.
