Her dissertation, «Nothing but Nets: The History of Insecticide - Treated Nets in Africa, 1980s - Present,» examines how and why insecticide - treated
bed nets became a cornerstone of malaria control in the 21st century, as well as the role of African scientists, health workers, health officials, and populations played in the construction of this biomedical, global health technology.
