That said, part of «the church [
being] only
too happy to let» the government get involved
was that churches only wanted to serve the deserving poor:
people with the right social graces,
people who
were properly grateful and avoided forms of immorality rejected by the middle class, and frankly,
people who

Far
too many
people look on it as simply a way that should
be satisfying to me and, on balance, should make me
happy, because it will bring me more satisfactions than burdens.
It bothers me,
too, because the
people I have met who subscribe to similar «creed» don't tend to
be as
happy as they let on.
I make sure I
'm happy with the taste and some
people around me like it
too.
When I started my blog and instagram account last year I started following way
too many
people, some because of their food, some for their lifestyle or creativity, some for the aesthetics... but recently I realized that I spend so much time scrolling through my feed, comparing, feeling bad about my work, my life or simply not good enough that I decided to unfollow quite a few of those accounts, keep only the ones that make me feel good and positive and to focus more on creating, shooting, baking, styling so basically all those things that make me
happy and fulfilled and
being the reason why I started doing this in the first place!

been reading since the beginning — who needs a story — you've got the man, you've got the happiness, and you've got the skills to make one hell of an empty stomach feel like the luckiest organ in the world — Besides, my husband, who
was able to vote when I
was born, just happens to
be my professor from college... And when
people ask what grade I got in his class, I become quiet and with a slight whisper say «I got a B» — And that
was only 1 of 3 B's I got in college... Our story
is wonderful for him since he nabbed the young student... Doesn't sound so good for me, but I love him and sharing it regardless...
