While I do
believe changes in the church could've changed those transitions, I also wonder if our practices, friendships and mindsets could have made a difference too.

believes that scripture is clear women shouldnt have authority over men or teach
in the
church some go as far as saying women shouldnt preach
in sunday school if the classes are mixed.Personally i think times are
changing and i say that because i have a women manager she has authority over me and other men so if we follow the biblical example i shouldnt allow myself to be
in that situation which is just crazy thinking.
While I will not defend the
church in anyway, I do
believe that we are being unreasonable to expect this man's attitudes on certain things to
change.

church who was a «non believer» many others do not «
believe» as well as myself and yet non of us saw a problem with something that was being done out of respect and unison for the majority not for just one person opinion, and last, no one ever said he «had» to pray the only command was to bow your head and stare at the ground counting how many toes you had for all we carried, do what you want if choose not to pray but just bow your head

You are the reason for the falling numbers
in the
church, the world is
changing and people are
believing the same BS they were 20 + years ago.
For myself, I do
believe there are independent «things» which are'institution / s» which, if kept small and
changed often, and devoid of power, are not necessarily a bad thing, but which,
in the case of the
church, has become far too large and been around
in it's present form / s for far too long, with more power than is proper, and
in many cases oppressing the people within its employ (not just those on the payroll but the volunteers as well).
The Pope has also stated that to
believe in extra-terrestrials is not a sin... and the
church isn't
changing?

believed in educational programs,
church activities, and the law's power to effect

My husband died by suicide and I'm appalled at the number of ignorant people
in the world and
in the
church who
believe «you just have to
change your thinking» to overcome depression, anxiety or other brain related diseases, and even take to blaming the family for the problem.
