I am amazed at how people
believe in evolution when there is literally just as much evidence as creationism.

People seem to get upset

Also I'll start

when the christian lobby stays out of the govenment and stops trying to hinder global warming,

I feel guilty
when I hear that some are skeptical because «that girl who

It's tiring and frustrating trying to convince someone of something like a big bang theory or theory of

in the face (care to tell me why god gave us appendixes?)

when asked about the where did we come from or how the universe (whatever) i always answer with i don't know, but then i pose an idea — i state openly thats its only an idea... if any one of you religions folks would simple agree to the FACT that what you
BELIEVE is real is REALLY only an idea until proven (much like
evolution) then i would find much more pleasing conversations beyond the realm of atheists... but alas, i am still waiting — i found some but most are imovible
in there beliefs that god is real, provable, and most def.

in classrooms, with no proof, I guess I can't see how anyone would leave God, for nothing, especially

But it is not surprising
when 7 out of 9 potential (R) Presidential candidates do not
believe in evolution.
Thus a science - trained professional might «
believe in» human
evolution when he or she is engaged
in professional tasks that depend on the truth of that theory, yet still disbelieve
in human
evolution when he or she is acting as a member of a religious community,
in which such disbelief enables her to both experience membership
in and loyalty to such a community and to express the same.
If a person
believes in evolution then change is always for the better, but
when a sabre tooth tiger evolves to be able to run faster and have longer sabre teeth that means that some other critter may not see that as a change for the better.
