The main thing that I learned is that I am X-shape and I should
belt over skirts / dresses, I enjoy having a defined waist and I like how it looks.
But I have a question: when u wear the skinny
belts over skirts with no belt loops, does the belt move around on you, like it does for me?

Wanting to travel lightly, I agonized
over formal wear for the QM2, finally settling on a long, black, wool
skirt worn with a sparkly
belt and a couple of sleeveless silk tunics tucked in.
My favorite ways to wear my
belt bags as of late: cinched at a high waist point
over a long midi dress,

If my maxi
skirt had an elastic waist band I would also wear it without a
belt, but because has a fold
over top, it tends to slide down as the day wears on.

So while I couldn't zip the 8 up all the way
over my 34D chest, the
skirt was poufing out because it was too large and the
belt hung loosely, the tightest of too buttons still too big for my waist.
