It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring players that
fit the system he ran when Henry was in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened... in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had in Real and with the German National
squad... unfortunately he ended up on a
squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the
best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the players around him and we all know who is in charge of making those decisions, the Grinch who stole soccer

squad was
good enough, you'll see there will be no injuries if everyone stays
fit so we don't need to sign players or we don't really need any striker we have Giroud (a player
better than Rooney and Henry who it is very very very very HARD to find any
better player than him and whom some fans here will discount any other player
better than him to prove he is
good enough).
Its not often I read one of your comments Budd and nod my head in agreement but on this I have to say yu are 100 % on the money Afobe will MAYBE a to notch plyer one day but right now we didthe right thing letting him go, the only thing that I will say is that we have always let players go when the world asked why and on hindsight have been proven right, HOWEVER why have we had players like Diaby on the books when it was clear he would never ever be
fit enough to fulfil his potential and why on earth have we currently got Sanogoals or Wellbeck on our books whe its obvious to all and their mothers that neither of these kids will ever be anything other than average
squad players at
best.

good fit into our team. But I can guarantee you that signing draxler alone next summer will not bring us the epl title. The
squad needs strengthening in at least 2 - 3 positions to win the title in what could actually be wenger's farewell season.Going back to draxler though, without a doubt he will only make the
squad stronger but I just hope that he is one of the many players heading towards the emirates next season to help us win the title, regardless of where MESU - LEXIS are cum next august....

am tired of wenger.the man has got
good skills, but somehow he fails to address basic issues in the team like buying a striker and a cdm in the last summer.at one time, arsenal had
good squad but had a keeper who at times committed mistakes i.e almunia.then after ozil came and arsenal were first in december, all wenger had to do was buy a pacy striker with eye for goal.but wenger did nt so obviously and instead bought an injured kallstrom.agreed ppl fans will keep saying managers shud hav played this guy or that one and so.but in case of wenger, its abt ignoring team issues t (to prove a point he can win without listening to critics and the fans which he never will), and then playing players out of form, out of position, and buying players that do nt
