After being a stay - at - home and
homeschooling mother of two for twenty - two years, that was certainly
good news for me!

good group of friends around the neighborhood, when time came for us to move on he did not want to move on and let behind his friends, so we had to explain him a lot about what we were doing and promise to bring him back so that he could keep in contact with his friends!
While she would like to be
better at parenting, crafting, farming, sewing, ceramic scouring, knitting,
homeschooling, travelling, book writing, domestic laundering, boxing refereeing, spousal engagement, etc., she is learning to realize she can not do it all but blogs about the journey at www.theevolvinghomemaker.com.
I can see it working at home, in a
homeschooling plan, or in a classroom as
well.
I
homeschool our four children, and I find that being flexible with our schedules helps as
well.
This is how I
homeschool my adopted son (really, my older bio kids as
well)-- Lots of short lessons, sharing power by letting him make choices, a lot of breaks for movement, snacks and drinks - and rewards along the way (for both of us!)
We had a
homeschool field trip where the class was art based as
well as geared to science.
I'm passing this on to my DH, who stays home with our toddlers, and the
homeschooling crowd that I am friends with — who could make a great science lesson out of this, and probably a nutrition lesson as
well!
Here in Oklahoma we are lucky enough to have Braums which is a dairy near my town and while I was being
homeschool we went on many field trips to the dairy and the cows are treated much
better than normal dairies and they don't use hormones or antibiotics.
