Most people have gone past caring about 3rd party multiplats all they do is lower the value of your console in the long run as opposed to quality 3rd party exclusives like Sonic BOOM, Bayonetta2, Hyrule Warriors, ect and 1st party games that are just the best.

Ok, here's my take on it... I have both systems and can only get it for one... and the PS4 has the edge on graphics (which I have to «try» and tell which one is which by screen shots side by side) I still go with the X1 on multiplats, for me the «snap feature» BY FAR makes up for the lost graphics (that in real gameplay hardly exists to me) plus my controller of choice, plus in my experience, the network is more stable... those things push me to the X1... I have Minecraft on both and everything just flows so much better on the X1, the OS, friends, messages, party, just like it better... I mean, my PS4 dosent really feel much different than my PS3 did... but my X1 sure feels different than my 360 did... PS4 is a beast and ill play all exclusives but the everyday «workhorse» console for me is the Xbox one...

@syntax Multiplats looked better on 360 last gen because the 360 had a better gpu, the PS3 was only more powerful in the CPU department.

when it comes to exclusive, if it doesn't look good, they will say, gameplay is more important but in terms of multiplat, gameplay comes 2nd, superior gfx comes 1st!

Show me an x360 exclusive that looks better than Killzone 2 or Uncharted 1 and THEN you can brag about multiplats.

People ignore the fact that all ps3 versions of multiplat type titles all perform and look better, which erodes any argument about a consoles potential power (since all anyone has seen from the 360 is the unreal engine and uh.

Still stoked for a PS4 though, fun times ahead with their exclusives as well as some multiplats as they are just more enjoyable with a controller (If it's not supported on PC).

Whilst I agree that Microsoft will not catch up in sales of hardware anytime soon I do think that they made the right move with the One X. I bought both Xbox one and PS4 at launch and I would play every multiplat on PS4 due to the slightly better resolution / performance.

Im am sick and tired of hearing that... I have a Pro strictly for Exclusives which imo, Sony has better unique IP's BUT most of my library and 90 % of other gamers libraries consist of Multiplats like, COD, BAttlefield, Battlefront, GTA, The Witcher, Elder Scrolls, Far Cry, Fallout, NFS, Madden, Fifa, etc..

It was a big talking point with the 360 and plenty of multiplats that looked considerably better on it.

Multiplats are the most popular games on these consoles (switch not inculded) so expect a lot of «looks best on X» promotion going forward.

This Gen all signs point to Sony's multiplats looking and performing better as well.

and on top of that, since PS4 is a more powerful console with (currently) better dev tools than the Xbox One, multiplats like Final Fantasy XV and The Witcher 3 are bound to perform better on PS4.

Crippled media playback, Playstation Now pricing, studios being closed down, the few exclusives made basically being stinkers... at least the multiplats are generally good on PS4, unless they are CPU - bound.

Sony does nt have a system seller, uncharted is only good for its 4 hour campaign as its multiplyer side sucks, shame though at least most multiplats run at 1080p if you ignore the low texture filtering

Third party multiplats may not come over because they would need to make it work on Nintendo's handheld as well as the console, unlike competing systems.
