I find it odd that aetheists feel so directly personally offended by Christian symbols... they are not offered as an «
attack», unless you see the sharing
of beliefs as an
attack upon your own beliefs, in which case I think there is a deeper problem... This billboard IS a direct
attack, and as many others have
pointed out there is a
better way to share your belief as an aetheist.
My
point in all
of this is, everybody has their own beliefs, and i respect that fact... i don't care, i'm not going to

You sir are an idiot, i will continue to believe so, But at the same time, i will make note, that i did not come on here to
point out how flawed your beliefs are, it only lead down that road because you took it there, i was
pointing out, that it does none
of us
good to sit here and disagree and try to disprove one another's beliefs, you have your own i have mine, i know something to be true, and you somehow believe what you believe, i'm apparently not going to change your mind and you have no shot at disproving my beliefs so why
attack eachothers beliefs?
the
point im trying to make is that if we have a DM it will slow the counter
attacks down, giving BFG a few extra seconds to read the play, therefore getting the
best out
of him...... im not a football manager or a coach, but its not only me who can see this flaw in our game, its the whole world.....
POINT OF NOTE TO ARSENE:
BEST DEFENSE IS BUILT UPON COMPETENCE IN
ATTACKING, PERIOD.
But when Ozil was not playing
well and we
pointed out his lack
of energy and defensive abilities we were told he is a no10 who should not defend or
attack.
I believe tgere are 3 titke contenders this year Leicester, city and arsenal About Leicester they are doing great but there football depends on counter
attacking and few quick passes to reach the ball to mahrez or vardy i don't think they can impress anybody if they faced teams that park the bus like what the teams do with arsenal and also any injury for mahrez or vardy will ruin there season so i don't consider them a real challenge and in an open game we got the
best out
of them and beat them with 5 goals to 2 so calm down gooners About city they had very impressing start for the season then they were vety baf winning most games by pure luck or last minute goals and they could be beaten easily Arsenal are the
best team form we controled most
of the games and the losses and draws were by bad referee decisions or bad luck and the 4
points margain with city could have been easily 10 or 12
In all honesty Arsenal played
well we had very
good position with loads
of chances and 13 corner kicks how come we are so crappy at scoring corners???? We need to start scoring the chances we get from corners we could have easily beat southhampton by 4 goals but forster was
good he got the 3
points off us MR wenger should go back to the drawing board as he has some options one
of witch could the calling
of welington silva or a reshuffle bring iwobi in elneny or new methods in tactics as in picking players and rehearse
attacks strategy As for the referee I to felt done by him there was on particular foul on sanches that was not giving at the end we need to register our efforts and be clinical
Point being sometimes

Some may
point to the fact that Chelsea only had 3 but if you assess the situation, Chelsea were never going to come out guns blazing at Arsenal, Chelsea thrive on controlling the game and counter
attacks, having a free flowing game
of attacking football is in Arsenal's
best interest not Chelsea's and as such they would do everything to break up the play, seek for one off opportunities to get a goal and or get goals from set pieces and it worked like a charm against us.
He may not be the

Nothing to do with MY
point of view, Vidal has always been a defensive specialist, but he's added an
attacking threat to his play as he's matured because he's simply that
good.
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety
of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style
of play has become a shadow
of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out
of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid
of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can
attack the defensive lanes in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out
of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes
of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play
of Monreal, but none
of these players possess the skill - set required in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio
of scored goals per clear chances was relatively low (
better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit
better during some
points in the latter part
of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part
of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature
of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player
of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out
of position far too many times since arriving and that the players in front
of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-
attack offence in Real or the space and protection he receives in the German National team's midfield, where teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components... in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion in a regular starting eleven; I would say that,
of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one
of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation... in Sanchez, we get one
of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already
of course... strangely enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs
of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack
of mobility is an albatross around the necks
of our offence... so when you ask who would be our
best starting 11, I don't have a clue because
of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
They have a
better chance
of getting a
point or a result against us because Southampton break and
attack and use on pitch tactics, Wenger doesn't.
A recent Michigan pledge, Ruiz also flashed that pop at the
point of attack by getting a
good jump off the football.
Arsene can no longer play the waiting game 5) I do agree we are only 2 players short BUT only if Ozil and Sanchez stay... a world class striker (to convince Sanchez to stay or play him up front and get world class winger) and defender (Kolasinac looks a tough tackler and
good attacking) 6) Whatever your
point of view support the club and players and manager.
First — On
Point — I support the TEAM and NOT the REGIME Second Out
of Point: Wenger Must Learn that
ATTACK IS THE
BEST DEFENSE.
to have a JJ Watt, but in reality to have a
good 3 - 4 D all you need out
of those 3 spots are guys that can eat up blockers and hold at the
point of attack.
Bruce is not a
good force player with a 5T playing inside
of him, so I really don't like the thought
of him being blocked by a tackle at the
point of attack.
At home and needing the
points you would expect Arsenal to at least be positive but against the pace and clinical counter
attacking of the visitors that may not be the
best way
of getting a result.
Van Persie is the same but he is a
good enough player to be the focal
point of the
attack too.
Our wingbacks getting upfield and crossing seemed pointless (crossing actually getting
better), high balls up field seemed pointless and sanchez positioning on the counters was also pointless; Sanchez got the benefit
of more space because besiktas was pushing forward for an equaliser in the second half, however we will not have the same opportunities n other games, i strongly feel he would have a joy ride on the leftside
of our
attack, with sanago or a new signing like a welbeck as the focal
point.
The balance shifted to a pass - heavy
attack at first «because that offensive front was
best suited to pass protect,» he explains, and two seasons later the Hogs would win 10 games with an almost even balance
of pass / run calls and average 36.5
points a game.
The former Arsenal and England forward Alan Smith was clearly not as disappointed as some Gooners with the away
point against a difficult and in form Stoke City side at the weekend, especially as the Gunners were without two
of our
best attacking players in Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.
First
of all I would like to say that I think Arsenal will come away from Vicarage Road next weekend with all three
points, especially as the team should look a lot more like the Arsenal we are used to, with Olivier Giroud leading the
attack and Mesut Ozil doing what he does
best in the number 10 position, but there will be a lot more pressure on the players to beat Watford than is ideal.
So with a tough run
of fixtures for the Gunners to kick off with I feel that a win at home to Leicester City in our first game this Friday night is hugely important and I would expect to get all three
points as
well, even without our Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez, but there is one thing that worries me and that is the Algerian
attacking star
of the Foxes, Riyad Mahrez.
I just laugh when i see Ozil and Cazorla playing together in the same team. When we win peeps are blinded by the fact that it is wrong. When we lose then reality catches up with them and peeps are saying Ramsey is shit.Maybe only i can imagine how Mertesacker at right back or Giroud at right wing would seem like.A player is being played out
of his position yet peeps are blindly
attacking him but never
point out the managers fault.Play Cazorla at no 10 and put Ramsey at his
best position. If you wont do this and you want to continue to tread the wrong path play Ozil at no 10 and Cazorla at box to box and bench Ramsey and lets see how this thing survives and peeps are complaining about tippy tappy football infront
of goal.Men!!
Despite the fact that the often critical Neville was happy to say that every single player in an Arsenal shirt performed very
well yesterday, he did
point to the influence
of our
attacking trio
of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil; and Alexandre Lacazette as the most important part
of our game.
If Wenger was not planning to focus on
attack before, will the Palace injury situation convince him that we must take the game to them for the
best chance
of coming away with all three
points?
After going down to 10 men we had to bring on Gabriel and although Giroud has been in
good form and has a lot
of plus
points, his pace and counter
attacking threat are not among them.
He is
good but given that the focal
point of the
attack for Arsenal is Giroud, he won't fair
well, I've always said if you where to give our «wingers» artistic license to play as inside forwards instead
of on the overlap trying to cross it in to Gioud they will be a he'll
of a lot
better, Walcott and Ox preseason and Campbell world cup and Alexis Sanchez Copa America and now Gnabry are all self evident having a deep lying forward / target man is impeding their ability to perform
well because there spending 70 %
of the time trying to cross instead
of run at opponents
But despite not having his
best season in 2016 - 17, Griezmann was responsible for around 40 %
of Atlético's goals in all competitions and is the focal
point of Simeone's
attack.
Pitted against manger - turned - pundit, Harry Redknapp's very own
best XI from the weekend's fixtures, Crooks»
attack - orientated side entered week four with a six -
point advantage, having won two and drawn one
of their three matches so far.
Despite facing absentees during the course
of this season, Balotelli still managed to grab a very
good amount
of goals for his side and becoming Milan's vocal
point in the
attack with Stephan El Shaaray, who coincidentally suffered a drought in the second part
of last season.
Christian Benteke — 6.5 Set up Coutinho for a chance in the opening minutes
of the game, and provided a
good focal
point for the team's
attack as
well as providing a valuable outlet when the ball was cleared forward.
City were far from their
attacking best but another fine three
points means they move five clear
of Manchester United, who lost to Huddersfield.
The Wolves team does look
better from an
attacking point of view, with Mick McCarthy boasting a lot more creative outlets than his opposite number, who will once again rely on the quick feet
of Victor Moses.
Liverpool have got one
of the
best attacking squads in the continent but their shaky defense has cost them a lot
of points in the Premier League this season.
Just at home, the DW Stadium, Wigan posses some
of the league's worst records, like least amount
of points registered — 11 from 11 matches, the leakiest home defence having shipped 20 goals and conceding nearly two goals every game on average, as
well as the second bluntest
attacking line (10).
To conclude, Klopp need not surrender his philosophies to accommodate Liverpool's
best players into one starting XI, he only needs to put them in positions they are fairly comfortable with, and that way the team as a unit can succeed; with Benteke as the focal
point of the
attack, but Sturridge and Firmino also expected to chip in with a decent goal contribution, whilst Coutinho, Henderson (when fit) and Firmino can all provide a creative aspect to outweigh any creative spark lost by not having Coutinho at the very middle
of the
attacking midfielders.
The hosts hadn't came up with such noticeable
attacks in the last 20 mins
of the game and it seemed to be they would have surrendered two
points to the cottagers in the dying minutes
of the game, as De Gea made plenty
of good saves.
Your
point stands though and the fact is we badly need some depth in
attacking positions now, and are gambling with the beginning
of our season as
well.
