There are a number of
exercises that strengthen and tone your abdominal muscles but nothing works
better than
stability ball workout.
The
exercise ball is one of the
best tools for building strength, endurance, and
stability in the core.
There are some
stability ball exercises that are
good, and some that are not recommended, but ones like the
stability ball jackknife are a true total body ab
exercise you can do at home.
Some of the
best upper abdominal
exercises are
stability ball crunches, sit ups, and incline crunches.
Alternatively, if you'd rather work out at home, I usually recommend a mix of bodyweight
exercises as
well as at least picking up a set of adjustable dumbbells such as PowerBlock Dumbbells, and perhaps a
stability ball for more variety options.
