Fitted diapers or prefolds with
snappis work
best.

best with thick woven cotton fabrics.
And even though the teeth are at a different angle than a
Snappi, they dig in

When we
snappi'd, we found that we liked the jelly roll fold the
best, basically you're making gussets yourself to hold in the poo!
Traditional versus
Better Fit Traditional Fit prefold cloth diapers can be secured to baby with diaper pins,
Snappi Fasteners or placed in diaper cover and trifolded (sides folded over the middle) with the extra length then folded over in front or back for additional absorbency.
The Size 2
Snappi ® is
better suited for larger babies and young toddlers.
Snap covers are a looser fit as
well so the diapers require diaper pins, a
Snappi or another style of closure to keep the diaper in place.
The
snappi grips really
well and has nice stretch to keep the diaper on.
They work
best with diapers that have a loose enough weave for the
Snappi ® to hook into.
(
Snappi ® terry cloth diapers, cotton pre-folds, and others) Note they do not work
well with flannel or other tightly woven diapers.
If you plan to use a wool or pull - on cover, you will need to fasten your prefolds with
Snappi or Boingo diaper fasteners, or
good old fashioned safety pins!
I bought these diapers specifically for overnight use with my
snappi's and Kissa's covers and they have worked amazingly
well.
Woven fabrics hold up much
better to the stresses of pinning or using a
Snappi to secure your diaper than do knit fabrics.
Snappi work the
best with prefold cloth diapers; we have found that terry cloth diapers and any other style of cloth diaper with a loose weave works
well also, however, they do not work with the tightly woven flannel diapers.
Snappi ® s WORK

Snappi ® to hook into.
A growing favorite is the
Snappi, but quality diaper pins and / or using the right size diaper wrap (a diaper cover that «wraps» around the diaper to secure it to baby) works as
well.
They do not stay in place as
well as a
Snappi, but I have mainly found this to be an issue only if he isn't wearing a diaper cover.
Each of these styles besides the fitted will need to be pinned with a
snappi or
good ol' diaper pins.
