John Mayer, a huge fan of Justin's Maple Almond Butter, was struck with the idea of an even
better almond butter flavor: cookie dough.

good fats, super chewy and thick, with great nutty
flavor thanks to the
almond butter!
Well the brand I use is
Almond Bark, also known as vanilla
flavored candy coating, is a chocolate like confection made with vegetable fats instead of cocoa
butter and with coloring and
flavors added, rather than tempered white chocolate with mix ins.
I like cashew
butter for it's milder
flavor but a nice creamy
almond is
good too!
First and foremost, the
almond butter had to have
good flavor: toasty, nutty, and distinctly of
almonds; with zero trace other
flavors — one of our samples tasted remarkably like walnuts (not bad, just not what you expect from
almond butter).
You can add
almond butter or unsweetened shredded coconut into your bowl as
well for a healthy topping to enhance
flavor and texture.
This cookie needs a
good unsalted
butter and pure vanilla extract (if you want an
almond flavor you could add a little pure
almond extract).
This rocky road - inspired treat combines peanut
butter (use the real stuff rather than the powder for more
flavor), cocoa powder,
almond milk, and almighty chia seeds for a dessert you can feel
good about polishing off in one sitting.
I always try and have a staple peanut
butter and
almond butter on hand, as
well as about 5 or 6 other
flavors I'm sorry, I have an obsession, okay.
The
almond butter adds just a hint of nutty
flavor as
well as rich body to the soup, and with some tamari roasted
almonds on top, you can totally make a meal of this stuff.
The
almond flavor comes from
almond extract as
well as
almond flour, and the coconut
flavor comes from coconut
butter and shredded unsweetened coconut.
The ability of combinations of such ingredients as
almond butter and fig purée to bring a bar together is impressive, not only as it pertains to nutritional balance but in
flavor, as
well.
This easy and warming oatmeal, richly
flavored with
almond butter, apricots, and ginger, is not only gluten - free, but oil - free as
well.
I personally like the
flavor of roasted
almond butter — it's so darn
good!
Butter flavor is what gives your whipped cream that «baked» taste, but I love adding a bit of
almond flavor as
well that is so common in white cake recipes.
This is one of the few smoothies we've seen that uses
almond butter, so you're getting a nice nutty
flavor to round out the sweet, and you're getting some
good fat in there as
well.
Topping it with a bit of
almond butter adds protein and
good fat that will keep you full while the cinnamon provides a burst of
flavor and stabilizes blood sugar.
I add
almond butter into my smoothies to help sustain my appetite and energy longer; it adds
good texture and
flavor to my snack!
I love that you used
almond butter, it has a really
good flavor and it goes
well with the strawberry puree!
They're also bursting with
flavor from other
good - for - you ingredients like
almond butter, blueberries, and cranberries.
Once I've made these two things, I then take out a big pot and put into it about 2 - 3 cups of tea, 1 - 2 cups of this cream and a litre or so of half -
almond milk, half coconut milk, along with some sugar - free chocolate, cocoa (or cocoa and cacao
butter), sweetener, spices (like chai spice),
flavorings like vanilla or caramel, salt (I always add a little salt to most sweets, it balances the
flavor)... basically anything you think will be
good in a [quote] mocha [/ quote] type drink (I even put small amounts of maca and other medicinal mushroom powders to up the nutritional value - but just a little, to avoid bitterness).
1/2 cup rolled oats (gluten free if necessary) 1/2 cup nut milk 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (omit if nut milk is
flavored) 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional) 1/2 banana 1 tablespoon nut
butter (
almond or cashew work
well) Pinch of sea salt
The
best part is that you can easily and naturally
flavor the above homemade
almond butters with wholesome, optimal health ingredients if you'd like to.
I prefer the
flavor of
almond butter so much
better than peanut
butter.
