And if you are saying that Giroud can be good back up if we play 2 up top then in that case we have Welbeck as well... I know he don't score often but for back up player you need not have world class striker... Monreal has been solid and is a better left back than Gibbs his game at City was very professional and has to be now first choice with Gibbs a good back up What is very interesting is how the team play next premier game to see if it was just one of those games that everything went to plan I hope it can be repeated as they all now are hitting form CB

Yes Chambers won't get in the starting epl side but he is a much better back up than Holding, or Debuchy or Mertasacker.

Coquelin is a DM and not a CM but I rate him very highly.He is very limited but when asked to defend he's excellent.I say this because I watch the DM's of other teams.He's not good enough to start unless played with a very good and consistent CM.I feel he would be a very good back up to a DM who can attackand defend very well.That's what we really lack.
