There are many great and experienced
editors in traditional publishing who can help a
book become
better for the author, but at this point, with traditional publishing in the state it's in, I'll take my chances on a couple of friends reading the
book.
As far as publishing goes, the main thing, I think, self - publishers need to understand after all the other jazz about writing
well and using the services of a professional
editor, is that being a self - publisher means they've gone into business as publishers — even if just one time
for their own
book.
