better players in front of him than Mooy!

better players in front of them to provide them with competition and boost our title chances?

It's difficult to blame Ozil for the difficulties he's faced at Arsenal without looking at the big picture... like the fans, he too was lied to by Wenger... there is no doubt
in my mind that he was told by Wenger that he was trying desperately to recreate our earlier success by acquiring
players that fit the system he ran when Henry was
in his prime... as we know this hasn't happened...
in order for Ozl to flourish he needs some speed up
front, forwards that can make intelligent runs, a boss
in the midfield to compensate for his obvious defensive liabilities and defenders who can transition from defence to offence quickly and efficiently... much like he had
in Real and with the German National squad... unfortunately he ended up on a squad that has a striker who plays with his back to goal, very few intelligent runs into the box, minus Sanchez, no one to take pressure off him
in the midfield, once Cazorla was injured, average defensive midfielders around him, which simply highlighted his lacking defensive qualities and defenders who lack the necessary cutting edge when it comes to transitional passing... instead
of blaming Ozil, which is simply too easy, especially considering his mopey disposition, we should be asking ownership and / or Wenger why they brought him
in if they didn't intend on doing what was necessary to get the
best from him... can you imagine Ozil playing with the likes
of Henry, Viera, Petit and Pires, it would be incredibly to watch and even more difficult to stop... so the only thing different between his experiences
in Real and with the German team versus his time at Arsenal are the
players around him and we all know who is
in charge

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Excellent stats for passing, tackling and work rate make him a top
player to have sitting
in front of the back four and if he carries on scoring goals as
well, surely he will have proved beyond doubt that Arsenal should have signed him this summer.
Yes we are but we want to be
in front of city and chelsea so we need
better players than them or am i missing something.
«If there is one (

the cheese eating surrender monkey has screwed up again we all know that now so we have to hope to get our real quality
players performing to full potential that is ozil sanchez wishere carzola... i am not sure there is a combo with all four and at this moment wilshere and sanchez are the only ones looking pretty decent and as wellbeck needs to be integrated those positions are settled... i am a big ozil fan and really believe wenger is failing to get
best out
of him by playing him out
of position so cant we play some kind
of diamond with him at the top feeding to a
front line
of sanchez and wellbeck... for me neither flamini nor arteta add anything to the team so i think playing to attacking strengths is the only option right now... but its really a ridiculous state
of affairs we have been left
in... throwing caution to the wind i would go for
Up
front we have a few world - class
players surrounded by some serious pretenders... Sanchez is by far the most accomplished
player in our attack but the controversy surrounding his contractual mishandling could see him go before the window closes or most definitely by season's end... obviously a mistake by both parties involved, as Sanchez's exploits have never been more on display than
in North London, but the club's irresponsible wage structure and lack
of real intent have been the real undoing
in this mess... Lacazette, who I think has some world - class skills as a
front man, will only be as
good as the
players and system around him, which is troubling due to our current roster and Wenger's love
of sideways passing... Walcott should have been sold years ago, enough said, and Welbeck should never have been brought
in from the get - go... both
of these
players have suffered numerous injuries over their respective careers and neither are
good enough to overcome such difficulties: not to mention, they both are below average first - touch
players, which should be the baseline test for any
player coming to a Wenger - led Arsenal team... Perez should have been played wide left or never purchased at all; what a huge waste
of time and money, which is ridiculous considering our penny pinching ways and the fact that fans had been clamoring for a real striker for years... finally Giroud, the fact that he stills wears the jersey is a direct indictment
of this club's failure to get things right... this isn't necessarily an attack on Giroud because I think he has some highly valued skills, but not for a team that has struggled to take their sideways soccer to the next level, as his presence slows their game even more, combined with our average, at
best, finishing skills... far too often those
in charge have either settled or chosen half - measures and ultimately it is us that suffer because no matter what happens Wenger, Gazidis and Kroenke will always make more money whereas we will always be the ones paying for their mistakes... so every time someone suggests we should just shut - up and support the team just think
of all the sacrifices you've made along the way and simply reply... f *** off
I was thinking about that, but then thought about how Pirlo looked so
well with two defensive / b2b
players in front of him pressing the opposition, Coquelin is one
of our
best pressers.
He is not 30 — he's still a young
player and his
best years are
in front of him.»
but i don't see him as a cam i see him as a cm, he is not
good with his back to goal he's
better when he can see whats
in front of him then drive past
players and play 1 - 2's that start attacks.
With two defensive
players and Santi, we have a strong protection
in front of the back four as
well as technical ability to create chances and retain possession.
The whole Gerald Wallace thing [
in a postgame interview last year Jefferson said
of Wallace, a Bobcats forward, «He's not very talented»]; he's a
good guy, a competitive
player, and I would never want to disrespect him
in front of his family and friends.
What I like him the most is his killer instinct
in front of goal and accept he has huge potential and can become very
good player for us.
Id play him
in front of the other two though as i never really did think he was greatly suited
in partnership with holding
player, its just when were on top it looks
good.
They may not be the most pleasing on the eye, but England are a
well organised outfit and have the
players more than capable
of providing that bit
of quality needed
in front of goal.
I wish for all our
players to do
well and turn into WC
players especially someone like Jack who we have seen grow right
in front of our eyes (through the media ofcourse, lol).
But for sure underinvestment doesn't deliver especially if u want to compete on two big
fronts... Bellerin is the first
of our young
players to come through
in quite some time lots
of expectation
in last 6 years but can't think
of a real quality
player from the academy... Wilshere might if injuries hadn't prevented... Spurs now looking
better on that
front Attitude is key I agree totally... love the way Leicester hunt down ball
in packs and break with 3 or even 4
players moving at speed...
I understand the logic behind your thinking and I agree, this could be lethal, but it then means wilshere ramsey flamini and arteta are bench
players or have to be sold because none
of them can operate as the sole midfielder
in front of our back four, arteta is probably the most
well rounded for this but against
better opposition I don't think he has the physique or pace to really command that area, he has the intelligence to read the game but without the other attributes he can only do so much.
There was more
good news for Arsenal with the performance
of our
players as
well, most notably from the centre forward who has been struggling
in front of goal for a while now and who Wenger could really do with finding top gear again.
In the premier league maybe you do need someone who's a bit rougher than you would in other leagues but still you only have 6 players in front of the defence and ideally every one needs to have a good all round gam

Understandably, it was probably a bit boring as it was just bullpen guys, and you are probably right with the
players being «off», but I just think it was great, low - scoring game
in front of a crowd that deserved a
good baseball game after what they've been through.
He is a great
player but with our own Giroud
in great form and still improving at centre forward and with great options up
front in Alexis, Walcott and Welbeck, as
well as promising young strikers like Akpom, Campbell and Sanogo trying to break through, I don't see a striker as a big transfer priority for the summer, especially if it is going to use up the lion's share
of our budget.
2 things; wenger has to take massive crtisism for favoritism with certain
players and for spending latley on less than whats needed e.g why play ozil, ramsey, walcott, when they havnt performed, anyone can see a
front 3
of welbeck, sanchez and perez would cause havoc Xhaka wtf he cant takle, is not mobile enough and has the temper and the decision making skills
of a
of a suicide victim, why did nt we go
in for Kante less money and 10x a
better player or even Schneiderlin thinking about what happens after wenger ask yourself this will we win the league next year with wenger then ask if we got the right manager next year would we win the league
ok i understand that competition for the striking roll is to hard for me since you have these world class
players in that roll, but i am also a
good goalkeeper... you know when i was a postman when i deliver a new newspapers
in front of the people houses, people shooting at me with old ones and i catch them all...
Muller is renown for his versatility
in attack — able to play as a leading striker, as
well as a No. 10 and a wide
player — yet with Robert Lewandowski likely to remain as Guardiola's first - choice up
front, the lure
of perhaps spearheading the Red Devils attack could prove key
in helping decide his future.
Scott remains one

players in the world and he navigated all that trouble with relative ease, scorching the Jack Nicklaus course with a

Arsenal defended with 10
players, they put everybody
in front of their own line and they had
good organisation, congratulations to them.
Flamini isnt the
best player we have but he is the only midfielder disciplined enough (for the most part) to stay back
in front of our backline which allows the likes
of ozil, cazorla and ramsey to commit numbers to the attack without worrying about leaving the back exposed.
Arsenal was given one
of the weakest team
in this CL competition.Everybody expected a win, like by big margin but the whole match there was no fight and desire. The game was so poor at all
front last night.City and Man Utd played their hearts out even though they were defeated.Man Utd
players witnessed a horrific injury to their team mate, that will affect their focus and rhythm but they fought with desire to win the game till the end.City were the
better team than Juventus, they played really good.I have even read an article on Sky that states even though Man utd and City is defeated they still can qualify the group stage, thats how their performance were reassuring. But Arsenal were really poor from starting the game till end.Zagreb got their first win
in CL since 1999, that says it all.
Ozil will record mammoth assists with a clinical finisher
in front of him.I just feel he gets frustrated because most
of the chances he creates
in a match are not
well taken.I also feel usually the
players fail to read a lot
of ideas.He's really being wasted
in our team.That» shis
best ability so they need to get someone who can finish off the chances. If Wenger doesn't get someone who can finish then I think Ozil is being wasted and should be sold.
