If you're looking to fly Air France first class, you'll need to book through Flying Blue, but paying the exorbitant Flying Blue rates to fly first class on a partner

By breaking down the cost of each ticket, you will see if paying for a ticket is
better than using
airline miles..
Add to that a large number of hotel and rental car partners as
well as online shopping and you have more opportunities to earn KrisFlyer
miles than with most Asian
airlines, making it a
good choice of reward program even for people outside of Singapore!
While I usually value
airline miles around 1.5 cents /
mile, topbonus has been in bankruptcy and near death since last year, so even minimal value now might be
better than no value later...
They have a separate award chart for every partner, so it is not as easy to say what a particular award will cost or if it is
better than, say, booking it with American
Airlines miles instead.
The tradeoff is that these points can be redeemed for more
than a penny each, which is
better than many frequent flier
miles issued by
airlines.
