Unfortunately honey has a very different texture / affect on baking than agave does, maple syrup would be a much better substitution.
Hate to nit pick but honey isn't vegan so perhaps best to lead with another sweetener or not proclaim them as vegan rather than mention honey a few times in the writing and then the recipe.

You can try it, but I don't think they will hold together very well... as brown rice syrup is much thicker than honey and maple syrup.
Just to make it easier for myself I avoid all honey — luckily I love maple syrup — and pure maple syrup contains more vitamins and minerals as well as less sugar than honey!
