Continue crate training them during the day, there is a disconnect in their mind
between crating at night and during the day.

We have
crate trained him, and he now sleeps through the
night (except for an occasional whimper
at 3 a.m.) It took a while to train him, but luckily we will be changing out our floor coverings in the next 6 months (
between having him and an old dog).
Doing this adds a step in
between and helps to ease their transition from sleeping with their mother and litter - mates to being completely alone
at night, while getting them used to sleeping in a
crate where you want them.
