The study explored the total, direct and indirect effects of emotion knowledge on adjustment in preschoolers and examined whether emotion regulation mediated the relationships
between emotion knowledge and adjustment (social competence, and behavioral difficulties, such as anxiety — withdrawal and anger — aggression).
