A study discussed in the Washington Post (and many other news
outlets) found an inverse correlation
between children's
fast food consumption and their test scores, even when factors like socioeconomic status were ruled out.
As derived from British household surveys, the density of
fast food outlets associated with body weight more strongly among women possibly reflecting their greater responsibility in the family setting or maybe lower control of appetite; thus, hinting at a stronger association
between body weight and environmental factors.
