More modern research that makes these adjustments seems to find no correlation
between coffee consumption (at least in
moderate levels) and risk of heart disease, stroke or cancer.
The summary RR was 0.89 (95 % CI, 0.84 - 0.93) for low to
moderate coffee consumption, with a significant heterogeneity
between studies (Q = 95.78, P < 0.001, I 2 = 61.4 %).
