I think the PW2 survived the
side fall parly
because it landed
on its lower corner, the most solid point of the
bezel.

Because of this design, your status icons are pushed up out of the way into a space that is un-usable
on the Galaxy S9 due to the
bezel continuing either
side of the earpiece.

on the phone the vertical size of the device shouldn't affect one - handed usage.
