go back to work soon so i know this is good he does nt want day nursing and i will continue to nurse before and after work when he wants but i am so proud of myself for the nights i got up at 3 and 5 am when he cried as a newborn and for the days he wanted to
bf almost constantly and I thought i would never get him off my breast bc those moments are what made this independent spirit so secure and self - assured.
My first was a premie, spent a week in NICU with me pumping bottles for her,»cause I couldn't hold her long enough to get

The only thing offensive I've ever heard are those who make blanketed statements like «There are never medical contraindications to BFing» or say things like «Me and my baby
went through [insert really challenging / emotional experience], therefore, no one has an excuse not to
BF» I think it's important to continue to address this as a systemic issue rather than a «personal choice» issue.

BF, he has not had one.Do what is right for your child and you.You are not gross or a weirdo.
Most moms do what «sbest for their kids.And yes, there are women out there who legitimately can not
bf, so formula is a WONDERFUL choice for them.I exclusively
bf both of mine, but think it's okay to ff if you don't have enough milk.there are other situations where i think it's selfish.As for drugs during pregnancy and birth, I had to take 3 doses of medication while pregnant so that I could eat.my morning sickness was so bad I couldn't even keep water down.I made the choice to do that so I didn't starve my unborn child, but I only took what was neccessary to keep something down, and then had no other drugs and plan not to until my son is done

Determined to keep
going with
BF, and consumed with guilt about my failing, my GP eventually pointed out to me that the one thing you CAN buy for your baby is substitute milk.
My plan was to
BF until 12 months, but as the time grew closer I thought I would try to keep
going through winter (another 3 - 5 months).
He will take a bottle (I'm not
BF anymore) then he will
go back to sleep for 2 - 3 hrs.
I wonder why everyone thinks that
going against anti-co-sleeping recommendations is criminal but
going against
bf recommendations is no problem — oh wait.
Nobody is
going to disagree that
BF is nice, and that there are tangible (but severely overblown and overhyped) benefits.
I'm doing it because I like
BF, it's an easy way to feed and my baby can be fed while I
go about my life.
I know that
BF women from that region tend to
go on very restrictive diets.
IF
bf doesn't work out, I will
go to formula.
