After all, Arnold did a lot of other
biceps exercises too, so cheat curls may really have been training more of his lower back than his arms - but we don't think so.
Not exact matches
That means that the
biceps will be
too tired to be the dominant muscle when you are pulling, which in turn allows you to train both
biceps and back in the same workout session and enables your back muscles to have a much better workout since the rhomboids, lats and erectors spinae will be the dominant group that moves the weight in each
exercise.
It didn't matter if we really trained hard, if we used proper form, if we did
too many sets and reps.. We could train every day for hours at a time, doing endless
exercises and sets for just one muscle group (50 sets just for the
biceps!)
While these
exercises will definitely tone your shoulder and arm muscles (
biceps and triceps included), you'll be pumped to know they also work out your back, core, glutes and legs,
too.
So say goodbye to isolation
exercises — those that attempt six - pack abs and bulging
biceps, and weight gain that
too often gives the illusion of great strength.
Oh and also
bicep curls are OK, but there are body
exercises that will tone up your arms and work your entire body
too (such as boxing, push ups, etc) xx
It's not just your
biceps, quads and ab muscles that benefit from
exercise, your heart muscle gets stronger
too.
