Every time visiting new city i'm do all my best to try national cuisine, but after all delicious
dishes I've tried — i'm still

For potluck affairs, there are several side
dish recipes that are sure to be
big hits
with anyone in the family, including the Herb - Roasted Potatoes (page 6) and Guiltless Green Bean Casserole (page 7).
To reverse - engineer this
big - time favorite entree, I ordered the
dish to go,
with the sauce on the side, so that I could separately analyze each component.
We have a

I got my favorite, misir watt (the
bigger dish on the right: red lentil stew
with onion, berbere, ginger, garlic, and cardamom),
with sides of dinich watt (far left: potatoes in garlic, tomato, and berbere sauce) and yekik watt (in the middle: yellow split peas
with ginger, turmeric, and garlic).
I added a bunch of chopped fresh herbs and it was a hearty, full flavored main
dish for dinner that I finished off
with a
big crunchy mixed salad.
We had your watermelon / feta cheese salad
with a spaghetti - steak
dish for supper tonight and it was a
big hit!
I am amazed at how similar it tastes to the traditional style
with pasta noodles, although I haven't had this kind of
dish in a REALLY long time b / c of being vegan and gluten free, so my memory could be a little foggy But from what I can remember, this recipe was even better, and I love that you sub the zucchini noodles for the pasta noodles to get an even
bigger dose of veggies in this
dish!
On

dish, regardless of how
big (or small) the chopped ribs are!
