climate change» — a phrase so preposterous that normal, honest scientists give it a
big belly laugh.
But meanwhile
Climate Chaos, Inc. (
Big Green,
Big Government, alarmist scientists, crony corporatist «green» energy companies, and allied universities and scientific groups) will become richer, gain more control over our lives and livelihoods, and rarely be held accountable for the damage they cause.
Last week, Steve William, CEO of Suncor, one of the
biggest Tar Sands players, declared that
climate change was real, could not be ignored, and invited the new Alberta
Government to come up with a carbon tax plan.
The
big question Richard posed is whether people and
governments can muster the needed political will and act decisively in time to prevent severe
climate disruption.
We call on you to listen to the European Parliament, to align yourself with those
governments fighting for greater ambition on behalf of populations already feeling the impact, and not with President Trump and the same
Big Oil, Gas and Coal corporations who are profiting from destroying the
climate.
Because around 10 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions originate with EU nations, getting those
governments to take stronger action, faster, would have a
big impact on curbing
climate change's worst impacts.
