If you're new to collard
greens, this is how I like to cut them: Wash them, cut out the stems, stack the leaf halves, roll them up lengthwise like a
big cigar and slice the roll into 1 / 4 - inch - wide
ribbons.
As for the
greens, I used a few leaves of Lacinato kale sliced into
ribbons, and a
big handful of carrot tops -LRB-!)
I bought some great little Christmas items today (three tiny apple
green topiaries with a
big ribbon tied around them, an apple
green and cream stocking and a fun fuzzy little wreath — of course apple
green with white pearls plunked about).............
