How
big a role do middle
grade and young adult books play
in helping
kids navigate the awkward - to - awesome years?
That seems to be the conventional wisdom and has also been my experience with my book (a middle -
grades novel to teach
kids about 9/11)-- schools account for a
big part of my sales, which run about 90/10
in favor of print.
I would have hardwood floors; a
big stainless steel table or two (restaurant
grade) on wheels so I could move where it suits me;
in the center of this space I would like a long wooden farmhouse table for added creative space for my
kids and friends to join me; I envision this space to be very eclectic with old world, farm house, shabby chic, mid-century, and bits of primitive things inside it!
