I am doing
a big sheet cake though, not cupcakes... Any idea how the quantity of frosting from your recipe would translate onto a cake?

But this recipe makes a pretty
big cake, so you should definitely be able to make the
sheet cake and may even have enough leftover to make the smaller
cake as well.
My version is resized to use a 9 × 13 pan so it's not exactly a
sheet cake but the flavor is the same and her recipe is just way to
big for us to finish and I never have buttermilk on hand.
