team can afford to have that many average players on their bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)

Even though Olivier Giroud is out of form and lacking in confidence after his slow start to the season with Arsenal and the France national

@ davidnz well said lad... it has been painful for us FANS to watch ARSENAL play against the
big teams for years now, coming to these games not
expecting to win but just not get beaten to the pulp.
We were all
expecting Wenger to want to go out with a bang and go
big in the transfer markets of late, in a bid to win one or both of the major trophies before he retired, but what with the old boy being stubborn and delusional in his ways, he has yet again proven that he is slow to react to the obvious and With reality hitting him in the face (hard) with a
big wet fish, it now seems as though Wenger will be overhauling his
team during this summers transfer window.
Many fans are surprised at how well he's adapted to such a
big step up and now
expect him to improve on those figures next season as part of one of the exciting
teams in Europe alongside the likes of Emre Mor, Julian Weigl and Christian Pulisic.
With players like Mesut Ozil in the
team and with Arsene Wenger finally starting to make the
