ThankYou points after spending $ 4,000 in the first three months.
Though its lineup does not include any major U.S. carriers,
ThankYou is partnered with at least one airline in each of the three
big alliances.
The three
big travel rewards programs that allow you to do that are American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards and Citi
ThankYou Rewards.
The other
big change to the card is the way in which consumers will earn
ThankYou ® Points.
So by using the Citi Prestige card for your spending in these categories, you can earn a lot of Citi

One of the
biggest downsides to the
ThankYou Preferred card is its relatively high APR for cardholders with less than stellar credit.

This isn't a very
big deal to me as I never used my
ThankYou points to boost my Hilton Honors balance anyway but it does now leave Citi without a single hotel transfer partner.
You'll have to decide which card is better for you, but for me the
bigger sign - up bonus, better earning scheme and 25 percent bonus on
ThankYou Travel Center purchases made the Citi
ThankYou Premier card my choice.
They're great no - fee cards because they give you access to two of the

Many bloggers criticize the fact that
ThankYou points doesn't have any US airlines as partners — and that's not a
big issue for me: The airlines in the
ThankYou program offer much better international flight experiences than the US carriers, especially in premium cabins and I'd take Singapore Airlines, Virgin Atlantic or Etihad over United, Delta or American any day!
But Citi's changes to the
ThankYou Premier card are a
big step towards leveling the playing field between these three cards.
