breakfast is a huge smoothie bowl (made a
bit thick to spoon) and topping it with fruit, nuts, and fun things

I decided to make it
like my Pumpkin Cheesecake Rolls, instead of as one large pan, so they are perfectly
bite - sized for
breakfast and ready to pop in the lunchbox for a treat.
What I
like about oat though, is that it gives you the

I use the chocolate Garden of Life powder in my
breakfast shake most mornings and love it, but sometimes I feel
like I should vary it up a
bit.
These pops taste a
bit like your favorite
breakfast smoothie frozen solid: creamy yogurt, sweet strawberries and
bits of diced pineapple.
They make a great on - the - go
breakfast, snack, or pre-workout
bite, and they can usually be crammed full of nutrition from fruit, nuts, or even veggies,
like carrot and zucchini.
We had a slice warm with our dinner the night is was made, then I tried a
bite once it was completely cool, and then had a cold slice for
breakfast the next day and I
liked it equally well at all temperatures!
But I actually held back because they could have been called a million other things...
like lovely gooey
bites... or gluten free
breakfast squares... or deliciously sweet snack bars... you get the idea, right?
All that fruit also requires quite a
bit of prep work and let's be honest, when I'm making a smoothie for
breakfast it's probably because I'm running out the door
like a hot mess.
Recently though, I started throwing chia seeds in my with many bowls of
breakfast oatmeal to thicken them up a
bit and I found that I actually
liked the results.
I really
liked them and they were a great
breakfast option but I have been thinking something a tiny
bit sweeter would be nice to have around for a somewhat healthy dessert or afternoon treat.
A typical full day of eating for me looks
like:
Breakfast: Spinach, Mushroom, Onion and Tomato Frittata... sometimes with bacon or homemade sausage Iced Coffee with coconut milk Lunch (this is usually my largest meal of the day): 4 - 5 ounces of protein (turkey burger, pulled pork, chicken thighs, ground buffalo), roasted veggies and sometimes a sweet potato or butternut squash Snack: apple with almond butter or a handful of macadamia nuts Dinner: A large salad with all kinds of raw veggies (cucumber, celery, carrots, cauliflower), avocado or olives, usually a lighter protein
like grilled chicken breast, salmon or shrimp This would represent a full menu... I would say I hit this about 4 - 5 days a week, other days I may omit the snack or keep the snack and omit a meal, if i do that though I would add a
bit of protein with it.
I also tend to add chocolate protein powder to kick the protein content up a
bit since that is what my husband
likes to have for
breakfast before going to the gym.
This healthy
breakfast starts off
like most chia seed puddings, by combining the seeds, almond milk and a
bit of sweetener.
And if you
like to have porridge for
breakfast, stir in a
bit of this beautiful spice to have a creamy and warming bright yellow bowl to start your day or blend it with your mashed avocado on toast.
I can chuck several of these, and something fruity
like the raspberry coconut
breakfast bites into a cooler bag and not have to buy lunch out.
