bit too aggressive with the spoon!
I bought spaghetti
squash for the first time, just as a variety, having no idea that it actually looks a
bit like spaghetti inside.

like flavor.
Quite often, we can still get kabocha
squash (pumpkin shaped, slightly flatter, and usually greenish / yellowish with stripes) or small butternut
squashes in the spring, which taste quite a
bit like pumpkin.
A
bit more sweet with the kabocha
squash which worked well with the aromatics
like cardamom and coriander, but still tempered by ginger, mustard and chile with a luscious coconut - infused broth spiked with lemongrass.
Mine was a
bit watery
like the previous poster mentioned, but I think I should have squeezed the excess liquid out of the
squash before adding it.
I love this dish because, while it has lots of healthy ingredients
like summer
squash, tomatoes, spinach and ground turkey it still tastes a
bit naughty.
A typical full day of eating for me looks
like: Breakfast: Spinach, Mushroom, Onion and Tomato Frittata... sometimes with bacon or homemade sausage Iced Coffee with coconut milk Lunch (this is usually my largest meal of the day): 4 - 5 ounces of protein (turkey burger, pulled pork, chicken thighs, ground buffalo), roasted veggies and sometimes a sweet potato or butternut
squash Snack: apple with almond butter or a handful of macadamia nuts Dinner: A large salad with all kinds of raw veggies (cucumber, celery, carrots, cauliflower), avocado or olives, usually a lighter protein
like grilled chicken breast, salmon or shrimp This would represent a full menu... I would say I hit this about 4 - 5 days a week, other days I may omit the snack or keep the snack and omit a meal, if i do that though I would add a
bit of protein with it.
It is a
bit like an acorn
squash in shape though more cylindrical,
like a butternut.
That meant a little cooking because I
like how the taste of summer
squash mellows after it's cooked a
bit.
In a little
bit of a panic about not wasting food, I created this soup brimming over with vegetables
like red bell pepper, fresh chili pepper, pattypan
squash, grape tomatoes and Swiss Chard.
I love to scoop a little of the
squash into every
bite of stuffing; others
like to mix it all together.
I
like a large

squash, but go with what feels right.
