Just before serving, dust with
a bit more cocoa powder (using a tea strainer is optional but gives you extra I'm - super-casual-and-totally-cool points).
I decided to give it a try, didn't change the recipe too much, just added
a bit more cocoa powder, some coconut oil instead of water, some cocoa nibs for extra texture and I must say the recipe is far better than expected.
i made them without the chocolate chips and added
a bit more cocoa powder and some powdered sugar (i didn't measure).

I think that
more cocoa powder could help keep the
bites more firm, or potentially partially freezing them before snacking.

And that you had no troubles making them:) If you find them too gooey I recommend adding a
bit (like 1 tbsp or so)
more cocoa powder.
I know it kind of defeats the purpose a little
bit but do you think I could replace the 2 TBSp protein
powder with 2
more TBSP of
cocoa powder?
Our suggestions are adding pieces of sliced banana or some
cocoa powder, even add some minced nuts if you want to make it a
bit more crunchy.
