New Year, I wanted to lighten
things up a
bit with a healthier recipe that has all the same great flavors and textures as a traditional Southwest salad.

This year I've challenged myself to try different
things in the kitchen, whether that be
new recipes or
new ingredients, I want to try and get out
of my comfort zone a
bit.
In the interest
of minimizing (and not wasting food,
of course), I'm always trying to use up those last little
bits of things before buying
new things.

of thing.
But they've got a
new manager, and everybody deserves a

of comments from Wenger which are often his undoing... why would any manager worth his weight in salt make such a definitive statement before the season has even started... why would any manager who fashions himself an educated man make such pronouncements before even knowing what his starting 11 will be come Friday, let alone on September 1st... why would any manager who has a tenuous relationship with a great many supporters offer up such a potentially contentious talking point considering how many times his own words have come back to
bite him in the ass... I think he does this because he doesn't care what you or I think, in fact he's more than slightly infuriated by the very idea
of having to answer to the likes
of you and me... that might have been acceptable during his formative years in charge, when the fans were rewarded with an scintillating brand
of football and success felt like a forgone conclusion, but this
new Wenger led team barely resembles that team
of ore... whereas in times past we relished a few words from our seemingly cerebral manager, in recent times those words have been replaced by a myriad
of excuses, a plethora
of infuriating stories about who he could have signed but didn't and what can only be construed as outright fabrications... it's kind
of funny that when we want some answers, like during the whole contract debacle
of last season, we can't get an intelligent word out
of him, but when we just what him to show his managerial acumen through his actions, we can't seem to get him to shut - up... I beg you to prove me wrong Arsene
And though Sunday had a
bit of an appetizer with three regular season games (including a World Series rematch between the Kansas City Royals and
New York Mets),
things really pick up on Monday with a loaded slate
of 12 games.
From the wintry inside
things of: sewing machines; drawing paper and pencils; and blocks, to the tools and materials and projects
of the outdoors:

With health returning to our house, and a fresh
new year upon us, it feels so good to be «back at it» a

of writing and making
things (we're working on the third book!).

of jealousy, it is now similar as I am 17 weeks pregnant and my daughter will be 7 when this baby is born, my son is older however and it will be a little different for him this time around, he isn't really interested in the whole baby
thing but he is a very caring boy and I have no worries about him welcoming this baby into our family, my little girl will be a little mother hen I think, it is difficult I think for the whole family adjusting to a
new addition, I am excited and a little nervous, for my children and how they might really feel, I am not a first time mother but I feel a
bit out
of practice!!
But the ped did leave me wondering: when you start your baby on «real» foods, do you offer only one
thing at a time (a la «wait 2 weeks before adding anything
new») or just go whole hog and offer a little
bit of everything?
But if you need to switch it up a
bit, getting a couple
of new non-electronic toys special for the holidays can keep
things fresh and more entertaining for your littles.

of these now for Childcare centre use and they get used several times a day everyday we love nearly everything about them only small
thing is - Straps can be a
bit hard to adjust (Wouldn't matter as much in a home setting)- To get the straps out to wash is a mission (Again doesn't matter in a home setting) It's very easy to clean, sturdy, you can buy
new straps!
Other thoughts flooded my mind, like the fact that we'd need a
new vehicle, and that I'd just given away every last
bit of our baby
things.
