this year, i'm bringing over just these because they're super, and sweet and
everything that i've ever wanted out
of a macaroon - sweet, crunchy, toasty
with a
bit of chew in the center.
Every few weeks I go and build the most amazing lunch — starting
with mixed greens, kalamatas, feta, carrots and tomato, but then I LOVE a little
bit of everything around the bowl — their perfect protein salad, a little tabbouleh, a pinch
of the sesame noodle salad, and a
bit of the cold broccoli salad.
There is a
bit of stevia leaf powder
with the rest
of the healthy greens, which gives it just a touch
of sweetness — not enough to make it sweet but just enough to not make
everything taste so green.
Tasty chocolates (dairy, darkish, white - colored, and so on) is dissolved
with everything out
of almonds to be able to dry fruits and veggies to help chocolate
bits.
I made it
with 1 tbsp coconut oil and 2 tbsp almond butter plus a
bit of watter just to make sure
everything got well combined.
I did NOT halve the filling or the topping, you will use all the filling in the rolls and you'll have leftover topping but that stuff is good on
everything so feel free to stash it in your fridge or freezer for the next time you want to jazz something up
with a
bit of streusel on top.
Added just a teeny
bit of red win vinegar to the mushrooms and then sautéed the quinoa
with everything once it was done.
They pair it
with two eggs, avocado slices, hemp seeds and fresh raspberries for a dish that has a little
bit of everything.
I sautéed sliced Anaheim peppers
with onions and garlic and blended
everything with a bunch
of cilantro, scallions, a
bit of acid and a touch
of honey.
It brightens
everything up, makes you feel like it might be a little tiny
bit healthy, and
with some fresh cracked black pepper and a sprinkle
of parmesan (fresh only!)
If adding
everything at once is a
bit too much for your blender to handle, start
with oranges and use chilled water instead
of ice, to get things moving.
A
bit of red onion sprinkled over the cheese for a slight pungency, asparagus for
bite and avocado for creaminess (and because
everything is better
with avocado) all help to build up the flavours and textures.
I've been adding a little
bit of spirulina powder to all my green smoothies and acai bowls lately because it's packed
with iron and protein and, as an added bonus, turns
everything a brilliant shade
of green.
As
with everything lately, even my smoothies have gotten a
bit of a sugar «makeover».
I made
everything in advance and mixed the cuke, eggplant, tomato mix
with a
bit of the herb oil and let that sit chilling for a few hours and then followed directions from there.
Drizzle
everything with a little
bit of good extra-virgin olive oil and splash it
with balsamic vinegar, to your taste.
