And what appears to be «the cheese» is actually just almond milk with seasonings and
bit of flour for thickness.
I'm wondering if subbing
a bit of the flour for the protein powder would work?
Some recipes will use lower - gluten cake flour, or swap a little
bit of flour for cornstarch or tapioca starch, which results in a crumblier, melt - in - your - mouth texture.

I also had a
bit of trouble with the ratio working
for me using just buckwheat
flour (I know —
of course!)
I'm always looking
for a new one and I've got just a little
bit of buckwheat
flour left that needs to be used up.
I also just put the mix directly on the baking tray, sprinkled with a tiny
bit of rice
flour and flattened into shape before cooking, rather that what Her Pigness describes doing which was too time consuming
for me and I was in a hurry (as usual)!!
1) Put
flour, salt, sugar and melted butter in a mixing bowl 2) Pour in warm water
bit by
bit, and knead dough until it achieves a homogenous, smooth and soft texture 3) Roll the dough into a small ball and place it in a bowl, covering it with transparent film, and allow the dough to rise
for 30 minutes 4) Chop onions and garlic finely, and saute onions in a pan until onions are caramelized, then add chopped garlic 5) After 30 minutes is up, press the dough to get rid
of the gas created by the yeast 6) Add the sauteed onions and garlic to the dough, and knead well so that ingredients are dispersed homogeneously in dough 7) Shape the dough in any way you like and then leave it on a greased baking tray
for 30 minutes (during which the dough should double in size) 8) After the 30 minutes
of waiting time, bake in pre-heated oven at 180 — 200 deg cel
for around 20 to 25 minutes (or until the crust is golden brown)
I made this tonight and used 1.5 cups almond
flour, 1/2 cup tapioca starch, subbed chia meal
for flax meal, subbed avocado oil
for coconut oil, and added 1.5 T caraway seeds to give it a
bit of a «rye bread taste».
So feeling a
bit lost with my bag
of spelt
flour I turned to the Dovesfarm website
for inspiration where I found this recipe.
I halved the recipe and healthified them a tad
bit by using wheat
flour, half
of the butter called
for the recipe, 1/2 cup
of brown sugar and 1/4 cup
of truvia instead
of all brown sugar.

for dense bread and it brought me here... your article says if bread is rubbery it might have too much xanthem... I have perfected my cupcakes they are light fluffy and moist... and good enough that I was able to sell them at a local cafe
for 3.00 a piece and could not keep up... anyway the xanthem gum measurements
for cakes is supposed to be 1/2 tsp per cup and I only use 1/4 tsp per cup... so I am thinking if I reduce the xanthem in the rolls it would produce an airier roll... as everyone knows gluten free
flours can be expensive... and I wanted to avoid making a failed batch as bread and cake are a
bit different... the 1st batch tased great... just won't leave much room
for food due to density... as is the problem with lots
of gluten free stuff... am I on the right track?

I swapped out some
of the
flour for chestnut
flour (which can be a
bit tricky to find, but is often at Italian specialty stores, some health food stores, and Amazon carries it as well), which adds an earthy, nutty richness to the dough that I increased further with the addition
of toasted pecans.
For the batter to come together, a little
bit of chickpea
flour is all you need.

The question
of thickening sauces is one
of the hurdles I face every time I put up a recipe post — it's become a

of flour as a thickener) because while adding a
bit of flour or cornstarch to a larger recipe may not drastically impact the carb count, it does complicate the consistently Primal message I try to convey.
You may dust a
