In Southern parts of India, an everyday staple in most homes goes like this: prepare seasoning in ghee / clarified butter or oil,
a bit of mustard seeds, cumin, dried red chillis (can be substituted with paprika), crushed garlic or asafoetida and a sprig of curry leaves.
Or maybe just
a bit of mustard seed?

Jesus often spoke
of the Kingdom
of God in small ways: a
seed that grows to a mighty oak, a
mustard seed of faith, a
bit of yeast that causes the whole loaf to rise.
Elsewhere (Mt 17:20; Lk 17:6) Jesus speaks
of «faith as a grain
of mustard seed,» obviously meaning «even a tiny
bit of faith.»
But Jesus responds to the disciple's request with a touch
of irritation — the Greek would suggest a
bit of snark — and he tells them that if they had faith as small
of a
mustard seed, they could command a mulberry tree to uproot itself and replant in the sea... and it would obey.
Ingredients: 10 slices
of soft, white bread / 3/4 C chopped fresh flat - leaf parsley / 1 large egg yolk / 2 t fresh lemon juice / 2 t Worcestershire sauce / 1 1/2 t Tabasco sauce / 7 t Dijon
mustard / 1/2 t paprika / 1/2 t dried thyme / 1/2 t celery
seeds / 1/4 t freshly ground black pepper / 5 T olive oil / 1 pound fresh cooked Dungeness crabmeat — check for
bits of shell and keep pieces as whole as possible / 1/4 C chopped onion / 1/4 C each,
seeded and chopped green and red bell pepper / Unsalted butter for panfrying / 4 — 8 lemon wedges.
Brown
mustard seeds are a
bit sharper and hotter, and you can use them exclusively or use a mix
of yellow and brown
seeds to get the heat levels you like.
As far as flavor and seasoning go, this recipe delivers a
bit of spicy
bite from the
mustard seeds and red chile, coupled with a hint
of sweet, but not much.
· 2,2 pounds (1 kg) boneless skinless chicken breasts, trimmed
of any excess fat and cut into large
bite - sized pieces · 1 teaspoon dried marjoram · 1 teaspoon dried rosemary · 1 tablespoon
mustard · olive oil · 8 wooden skewers · 6 tablespoons

The white wine left a weird flavor and we offset it with a
bit more
of the yellow
mustard seed and about 1/4 cup cider vinegar.
Mustard seed and,
of course, a little
bit of dried oregano give it extra oomph.

mustard seeds & curry powder 1/4 cup
of cilantro, roughly chopped, the juice
of a lime & sea salt to garnish
By adding a
bit of lemon juice,
mustard, and poppy
seeds, you have created a new experience that makes a simple sandwich completely different.
The tostada is again featured in the Crab Tostada, served with
mustard seed, black lime, hot sauce, and watermelon radish, which was one
of the best
bites of the evening.
The fresh green beans are marvelous with the nutty
mustard seeds, crunchy sesame
seeds, and a
bit of ginger.
And for the base... Miss
