To be released on September 29 and with preorders starting any day now (Nintendo says it'll be before the month
of August is
out), the $ 79.99 SNES Classic Edition is a tiny version
of 1991's 16 -
bit Super Nintendo
console that includes quite a few
of the games I suggested Nintendo put on it.
Cons: Cleaning
out the steam chamber is a
bit of a pain and a must, so make sure to clean that are
of the
console.
Pinball FX3 for Switch is a
bit different to the other
console versions as it takes advantage
of two exclusive features that make it worth checking
out even if you already own it on another
console.
The game has a really cool classic sci - fi theme to it, rendered in pixel art that looks like it fell
out of a 16 -
bit console game...
The graphics, although a little basic on the Nintendo Switch still makes this game stand
out on this
console and there's quite a
bit of variety
of be found along the way.
Compared to the PC /
console versions, the simplicity does take a
bit of heart
out of the simulator, but I don't see it as a bad thing in this case.
The center
console remains a
bit busy with buttons lining both sides
of the transmission section but everything is laid
out logically and a vast range
of customization awaits the wealthy shopper.
The overall vibe is a spacious one, but some
of our taller drivers discovered that the wide center
console armrest takes a
bite out of elbow room while they're working the wheel.
Sadly this new
console only comes with standard definition cables
out of the box which does feel like a
bit of a cheat as HD is now the standard.
People crying about «censorship» only boosted the reach and sales
of Fire Emblem Fates when actual consumers found
out that it's actually a good game, and it turned
out that all the «censorship» malarkey was just certain people who can't let themselves enjoy Nintendo
consoles arbitrarily deciding to label random
bits where characters can't be interpreted as having screaming sex as «censorship».
MS could get
out of the
console business tomorrow and I would not miss them one
bit.
Jets also make a rather welcome return to the Battlefield series, although the fact that
consoles get considerably fewer players per game (24, compared to the PC's 64) it can make the jets feel a little pointless as trying to take
out a player on the ground can be a
bit of a struggle for anyone that isn't willing to dedicate their life to becoming the next Top Gun, but they are bloody useful for taking
out tanks, helicopters and, in the case
of some bad flying skills, any offending building, tower, tree or mountain.
Capcom has shifted the
console release
of Lost Planet 2 a
bit; the game is now scheduled to come
out a week earlier than previously planned, on May 11th.
In the latest
bit of cluelessness, Penello and an unnamed Xbox One developer took to Reddit yesterday and likened the social media frenzy over the new

of three decidedly lazy ports, and although it's still a fair
bit of fun, Vita owners are yet again missing

of which we know the Vita is more than capable
of.

of people will be willing to shell
out this much cash for the
console since Nintendo
consoles mostly just favor first party titles.
The PS 4 Pro seemed like a
bit of a waste simply because you require a 4K TV to get the best
out of the
console.
OmniBus looks like it should have come
out and the 32
bit era
of consoles.
It may have paled in comparison to PC sims like Wing Commander and the X-Wing series, but it beat the shit
out of anything on the 16 -
bit consoles.
What I mean, though, is that I don't quite feel like I can review a
console the same as I would a game, so I'm just lending a
bit of observation on the platform before rolling
out reviews
of the games (New Super Mario Bros..

of these old
consoles.
The main characters in the previous game represented the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii (and the hypothetical Sega Neptune
console which was ultimately cancelled) so the story would have felt a
bit stale or
out of touch if it continued to focus only on those characters while the game itself was being published on the next generation
of consoles.
Unlike its
console counterpart, finding a balance between visual quality and performance is a
bit of a chore, but we have a few tips that should help you get the most
out of the game.
For the most part,
console gamers are a
bit out of luck here.
