Vertical roll,
black, neon and strobe light; dancers,
musicians, computer language, television broadcast and satellite transmission form the visual and aural vernacular of his tapes and films, recently gathered
under the title, Channel Mix.
He later took his studies to
Black Mountain College in North Carolina, where he studied
under master Josef Albers (who supposedly hated his work), and alongside contemporary artists such as choreographer Merce Cunningham and
musician John Cage.
