black space out of this picture to get it to look like this.

I've tried to use the
space efficiently by making things multipurpose whenever possible (I expose the screens by making a stack of

According to these theories,

And the reason you can get energy
out of a
black hole, that swallower of all things, is that the energy you detect never really got into the
black hole to begin with — it's associated with the
space - time whirlpool created outside the event horizon by the
black hole's rotation.
Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity predicts that

out intense blasts of gravitational waves, ripples in
space - time.
Black holes can also send stuff back
out, emitting radiation that is, in a sense, plucked from empty
space.
IN ITS MODERN FORM, the concept of
black holes emerges from Einstein's general theory of relativity, which predicts that if matter is sufficiently compressed, its gravity becomes so strong that it carves
out a region of
space from which nothing can escape.
Gravity distorts both aspects of
space - time, and any dynamic event — the gentle spinning of a planet or the violent colliding of two
black holes — sends
out ripples of gravitational waves.
Now, a new theoretical model reveals that they all could be shot

black holes.
It's here in the room, it's
out in the
black space, it's everywhere and so every particle which moves through this field, and it's forced to, will interact with the Higgs particles and in that way gets mass.

out what's happening in the jets of these
black hole systems,» says Tod Strohmayer of NASA's Goddard

McGreevy admits the quantum systems he and his colleagues studied were very abstract because they had properties that were smeared
out continuously in
space instead of varying in a stepwise, quantum fashion.Sachdev's has come up with a more realistic model, McGreevy says, by applying a gravitational object, a kind of
black hole, to a quantum system with properties that vary stepwise along a lattice, just as in the lattice structure of strange metals.
Jets are narrow streams of gas that emergefrom the cores of some galaxies, travel at more than 99 percent thespeed of light, and penetrate as much as several million light - yearsinto intergalactic
space before fanning
out into broad, luminous lobes. How might a
black - hole whirlpool generate such a pair of waterspouts?Swirling bundles of magnetic field lines, flinging particles outwardfrom the poles of the hole, provide a natural explanation.
Black holes whip
out superheated gas from their accretion disks — pulled together from material in surrounding
space by their massive gravity — at such temperatures that the resulting light can outshine entire galaxies.
The process could be driving vast amounts of gas and dust toward the coalescing
black hole, in turn causing intense energy to billow
out from the object, says Neil Gehrels, a physicist at NASA's Goddard
Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, and a member of the research team.
And the reason you can getenergy

black hole and comes blasting back
out into
space in high - speed jets emitted from the poles of the
black hole.
To further unveil the nature of this remarkable quasar, and to shed light on the physical processes that led to the formation of the earliest supermassive
black holes, the research team will carry
out further investigations on this quasar with more international telescopes, including the Hubble
Space Telescope and the Chandra X-ray Telescope.
It was just a colour
out of
space — a frightful messenger from unformed realms of infinity beyond all Nature as we know it; from realms whose mere existence stuns the brain and numbs us with the
black extra-cosmic gulfs it throws open before our frenzied eyes.
Over time, galaxies will become isolated from their neighbors; stars will wink
out;
black holes will evaporate quantum mechanically into radiation; even that radiation will be diluted in a sea of
space.
As a result, existing stars will gradually burn
out, leaving only
black holes which, in turn, slowly evaporate away as
space itself gets colder and colder.
Then, before all matter in this smaller universe collapsed into one massive
black hole, the
space between these bodies was stretched
out, giving each body the great rotational angular momentum we see today.
Those stars could never have evolved that close to a
black hole, which has the mass of 4,300,000 suns, because the
black hole's gravity would have prevented gas from collapsing to become a star.47 However, those stars could have formed in a much denser environment, before
space was stretched
out during creation week.
The kick may be strong enough to hurl the
black hole entirely
out of its home galaxy, fating it to forever drift through intergalactic
space.
It'll be interesting to see if they can get gravitational waves from supernova / creation of neutron stars and
blacks... and of course, in a decade or so, we'll get LISA
out in
space and be able to detect cosmological gravitational waves.
The first
black holes in the universe had dramatic effects on their surroundings despite the fact that they were small and grew very slowly, according to recent supercomputer simulations carried
out by astrophysicists Marcelo Alvarez and Tom Abel of the Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology, jointly located at the Department of Energy's SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory and Stanford University, and John Wise, formerly of KIPAC and now of NASA Goddard
Space Flight Center.
How these jets are formed are a mystery — after all,
black holes are more well - known for consuming matter, not spitting it back
out into
space!
Find
out what these warps in
space - time are, the ways to find them and how we could use them to «listen» to the movements of
black holes and neutron stars.
It turned
out that the observed width of the jet was significantly wider than what was expected in the currently favoured models where the jet is launched from the
black hole's ergosphere — an area of
space right next to a spinning
black hole where
space itself is dragged to a circling motion around the hole», explains Professor Gabriele Giovannini from Italian National Institute for Astrophysics, the lead author of the paper published in Nature Astronomy yesterday.
PULLMAN, Wash. — Three billion years ago in a distant galaxy, two massive
black holes slammed together, merged into one and sent
space — time vibrations, known as gravitational waves, shooting
out into the universe.
acknowledge this, but I had grown accustomed to being ignored by yoga teachers who were uncomfortable with my being there, to being judged for being too new or assumed not trained enough to be in an advanced class, or to being verbally harassed by being repeatedly singled
out and highlighted for the doing what everyone else in class was also doing because it looked «different» on my curvy,
black body, and for being physically harassed through inappropriate touch in these
spaces as a very vulnerable student.
