If God demanded the death of an innocent and
blameless person before forgiving anybody, if God turned away even from those who repented until someone else suffered for their sins, if God demanded the pain and blood of the cross before admitting anyone into right relationship... what kind of blood - thirsty, sadistic being would this be?
