Diego — Destiny was a pretty
bland looking game so I wasn't expecting much going into this but damn did Bungie surprise me.

Some parts of the

While I still hate the
look of the battle system and I hate that Toads are the only friendly characters, the locations of the
game look very unique for a Mario
game, and the Hammer meter (They confirmed battles actually have a purpose, as they eventually upgrade your Paint Hammer's capacity, and painting cards while watching your paint reserves does bring more strategy then spamming your most powerful attacks in the Mario & Luigi
games and older Paper Mario
games) brings some diversity to the
bland battle system.
The backgrounds are a little
bland but it's easily the best
looking virtual roller coasting
game to date.
There are various customisation options, but none of them are particularly interesting, and with only one generic court the overall
look feels
bland and forgettable, unlike Overwatch for example (as a different competitive
game) which has stark and vibrant characters and settings.
Seriously, this is one of the worst GS reviews I have seen... How can you even say with a straight face that the
game looks bland and then hide the amazing art style in the shadow levels... worst of all, you can see the colorful and bright levels though the entire video.
It's certainly not the prettiest
game in the world either, rather
bland textures and lacking details all add to a rather average
looking game and the bikes have almost no damage modelling which leads to what should be spectacular crashes
looking rather boring and impacts have no weight to them, sliding into another rider has no real impact or feeling of penalty to it.

That

The last version had a major flaw in shader code which lost most highlights on instanced objects and made the
game look very

game can have impeccable, technically advanced graphics, but without good art design, it will still end up

Ironically, the up and coming Fallout 4 DLC expansions
look far more inventive and interesting than the main
game's narrative; the more whimsical and entertaining themes of Fallout 4: Automatron, and the mysterious locale of Far Harbour almost make the main
game seem a little
