I've always loved a good, tasty cobbler — and this looks great:) I've never made a sauce with
blended beans before, so this will be a first for me — it certainly looks good in the photos!

Remove the black
bean mixture from the heat, transfer to an alternative dish to let it cool down
before blending (to save on washing up I dump it straight in the food processor with the oat flour, but wait
before processing).
Another note: I added the salt & vanilla
bean seeds & then
blended briefly
before adding the honey.
If you're feeling extra fancy, removing the skins from the garbanzo
beans before blending them makes the filling even creamier.
Never used TVP
before and loved the
blended diced tomatoes with
beans idea, nice touch.
- For a sweeter smoothie add 1 - 2 medjool dates or 1 Tbsp maple syrup - Optional add - ins for more protein: 1/2 cup white
beans or 1/2 cup plain yoghurt - If you don't have a high - speed blender, I really encourage you to soak the oats in water or almond milk for at least 10 minutes
before blending
