Six years ago and more, it was the norm to write short
blog posts, 500 words or less,
about any keyword - focused topic you could find in your
niche.
If you're passionate
about starting a
blog, you can carve out that subject as your
niche and become known as the expert in that
niche.

niche — If I wrote
about just social media the
blog would not have grown as quickly.
For example, if you publish an awesome new fitness guide, reach out to

Most people like to see their content accessed widely and so can learn some great tips (as well as read some good content) from these
blogs, but «most popular» doesn't always mean «best» I'd say that for any blogger a key to judging your own success is to think
about the purpose and intended audience of you
blog — if you have a
niche audience in a specific location you may not get a huge following but if you set out to acheive something worthwhile through your
blog and you achieve it then that counts as success.
Also something important to keep in mind: What is different
about mother's
niche is that it is a Christian - based
blog that infuses its lessons with Christian principles and goals so this will be a welcome and helpful
blog to moms of the Christian tradition but may not be the best choice for secular moms or moms of other world religions.

about your awesome new
blog post you want to make sure that when they read it they are compelled to share it with their audience.
There are a ton of tips out there
about building
blog traffic, but the best advice seems to come down to this: define your
niche, post good content, post frequently, pitch your articles to other sites if you think the authors might be interested (but don't overdo it), and look for other sites that might run your articles with a link back to your main site.
Locally and regionally, though, far fewer people are writing
about issues, and new
blogs have a much better chance of being able to find a
niche.

niche and a particular audience and stick with it (there's a reason you don't see me writing on this site
about my other various dark obsessions besides online politics.)
