I know this was posted a while ago but I just stumbled upon your
blog and wanted to put in my 2 agurot:) When my first child (now 11) there was much less awareness
about breastfeeding in general in this country and unfortunately I myself knew little
about it and got ZERO support from the hospital.
I've written all
about it myself in previous

Although there is an official

about something that really annoyed me when I was

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who has spent the last 4 years writing
about my adventures in
breastfeeding and attachment parenting on my
blog and in my book, I thought that this would be a good opportunity to debunk the shit out of this topic... and article.
In fact, the whole incident inspired me to follow - through on starting this
blog where I could write
about breastfeeding advocacy and ideally generate some conversations
about it.
Let me start by saying that I am a
breastfeeding advocate (I've even done a

about what some branches of Judaism say are the spiritual benefits of
breastfeeding).
as for the readership, i don't know
about others, but i followed a link here from a
breastfeeding site, so that is already my area of interest; never been to this
