Next week, Trevin Wax will be stopping by the

for the new curriculum line coming up at LifeWay.
The first, The Reformation Project's Regional Training Conference, happens
next week in Washington, D.C. Led by friend - of - the -
blog and author of God and the Gay Christian Matthew Vines, the purpose of this event is twofold: 1) to provide training and resources on how to talk about the Bible and LGBT issues with non-LGBT-affirming Christians, and 2) to connect LGBT - affirming Christians with like - minded people
for support and dialog.
We'll be discussing the book
for the
next few
weeks, so if you want to join in on your own

Well, it's been one of those
weeks for me, as I've been battling pinkeye... yes, pinkeye...
for the last four days, along with a boatload of work related to book edits and
blog posts
for next week.So I spent a good part of yesterday in the exact same pose as you see above, only with swollen, crusty eyes, slightly better hair, and a more robust vocabulary from which to bemoan my oppression.
There are so many more exciting things to come (including the android app, hopefully
next week) and I just wanted to take this anniversary to say thank you
for all so much your love and support
for Deliciously Ella, it's truly amazing and I'm so flattered that so many of you love the
blog!
Next week, I'm taking a brief break from the

for a much needed vacation with my family =)
As
for the other kids, Jackson, who was just seven years old when I started this
blog, will be old enough to get a driver's license
next week.
I actually needed to take a few
weeks brake from the
blog because I wanted to catch up with things in school as well as focus as to what would be
next for the
blog as far as recipes are concerned.
Last
week my old
blog friend Renee of Renee's Kitchen Adventures sent me an email asking if I would consider being an Ambassador
for Certified Angus Beef
for the
next 12 months.
So
for the
next two
weeks on the
blog I'll be sharing some of my favorite Mexican party dips and recipes that I know you'll enjoy too.
I don't quite have them ready, but
next week I will either share the images here, or I will post a link to the
blog for my photo class where all of our work will be shown.
