Matters for America.
It adds a nice personal touch that,
on balance, makes the site more inviting than the other
climate blogs, no
matter what I say about the views / conclusions that often get expressed here.
And as we have learned lately, there is nothing in the blogosphere keeping corporations or governments from using social media like
blogs, twitter, facebook and the like from trying to create a false sense of consensus (like
climate skepticism)
on matters of public concern or interest — or lack thereof.
My concerns about the Intergovernmental Panel
on Climate Change (IPCC) aren't news to regular readers of this
blog, but
matters are unlikely to improve until this information reaches a wider audience.
