I had decided
to take on the challenge of
making gluten - free samosas as part of the Adopt a Gluten - Free
Blogger event, for which I chose another gluten - free
blogger's recipe and I
made it and now I am writing about it.
The Sweet Swap is an Australian food
blogger event where those who registered for the
event are required
to make sweets
to send off
to 3 participants.

I also love all of the connections I have
made with other
bloggers and people not only online through social media, but in person at
events and just by people reaching out
to say hello.
Long days of meal sampling at
events and restaurants
made it all too easy for food
blogger Dara Pollak
to hold on
to an extra five
to 10 pounds.
Last week, I
made a trip
to Nordstrom
to attend a
blogger event and scope out the new arrivals for spring.
During the day a
blogger could be running
to multiple shows, scrambling
to squeeze through the crowds
to snap those coveted photos for coverage for their blogs, taking outfit posts, hailing down cabs, grabbing the subway
to make it
to the many
events or meetings each day brings and much more.
I took a bit of a risk by wearing denim and flats
to a style
blogger event, and truth be told, a pair of sassy heels probably would have
made this look more polished, but I went with it.
I now
make it a point
to only attend
events for brands I genuinely care about and
make time for close friends /
blogger pals that mean something
to me.
I was so excited
to attend this Jane.com Crowned in Spring
event last week, where we were able
to mingle, socialize with
bloggers and the Jane team and learn
to make fresh floral crowns from the uber talented Lizy Bowden.

I don't go
to many
blogger events, but seeing your photos definitely
makes me reconsider
to start attending
to more of them!
So we
bloggers like
to make an
event out of everything and watching the Oscars is no different.
Make sure
to check out all the fantastic

Hosting an
event in Sydney with a mix of «celebrity» influencers and up - and - coming
bloggers, curated by Shopping Links, the brand gained a valuable foothold in the Australian market through fashion influencers who were able
to make a real impact on consumer perceptions.
Also - and this goes for
bloggers and regular
events alike - you want
to make sure you choose a venue with an appealing set - up and decor because it will be the backdrop of most of your photos!
Because the magazine
makes so much money and has such good sponsorship links, they have the means
to run really large, well - promoted
events, so it's brilliant they've chosen
to use those means
to showcase
bloggers.
